Easy Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients 1 ½ cups butter 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 3 cups white sugar 6 large eggs 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions Compile every component. Set the oven's temperature to 325°F, or 165°C. Coat a 10-inch tube pan with flour and grease.

In a mixing bowl, blend together butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar gradually and beat until frothy.

Beat thoroughly after adding two eggs at a time. Mix in the flour all at once. Add vanilla and stir. Fill the prepared cake pan with batter.

Bake for one hour and twenty minutes in a preheated oven, making sure to check the doneness after an hour. If you stick a toothpick in the middle of the cake, it should come out clean. Before serving, remove and allow to cool.
