½ teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups whole milk 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
Directions Start with a 350°F oven. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. Sift flour and baking powder; reserve.
Mix sugar and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until frothy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix flour mixture until thoroughly combined, adding 1/2 cup at a time. Pour batter into pan.
Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Fork-prick cake and cool to room temperature.
In a bowl, mix whole, condensed, and evaporated milk; pour over cooled cake and soak.
In a cold glass or metal bowl, beat cream, remaining 1 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until thick with an electric mixer. Spread over filling. Store cake in fridge until serving.
